The National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI) in Pulawy (Poland ), is a modern scientific research institution in the field of veterinary medicine, operating continuously since 1945. In 2025, it celebrates its 80th anniversary. The Institute is equipped with advanced laboratory infrastructure meeting the highest biosafety standards. Its laboratories are accredited by the PCA in accordance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 and hold official certifications from European Directorate for Quality of Medicines and Healthcare (EDQM). The Institute employs a team of leading experts in veterinary medicine and related sciences. Our core activities include: diagnostics of animal diseases (including ASF, avian influenza, rabies, Newcastle Disease, PRRS, IBR, BVD and others), testing of food and feed (dioxins, drug residues), evaluation of veterinary medicinal products, antimicrobial resistance testing, meat species identification, expert opinions, specialized training, and virucidal efficacy testing.
